2025 Cross Ice Leagues
All Mite through Bantam games will be played at Riverside Ice Rink (AKA: Bud Bakewell)
Select age groups will have a 3rd division: Elite, A & B
- Peewee A & Peewee B (2013-14): Tuesdays 4/29/2025 - 6/24/2025
- Squirt A & Squirt B (2015-16): Wednesdays: 4/30/2025 - 6/25/2025
- Mite (2017-19): Thursdays 5/1/2025 - 6/26/2025
- Bantam A & B (2011-12): Mondays 6/2/2025 - 7/14/2025
- Midget A & B (2008-2010: Fridays 4/18/2025 - 5/30/2025 at HOLIDAY TWIN RINKS!
2025 Full Ice Draft Leagues
All games will be played at Leisure Rinks
- Midget - A (2008-10) Wednesdays: 04/16/2025 - 05/28/2025
- Midget - B (2008-10) Tuesdays: 04/15/2025 - 05/27/2025
*Our Midget Division start after JV ends and concludes before split season teams and/or JV Summer Leagues begin and will be a Full Ice Draft format. Each 16u division will consist of FOUR teams, with a 6-game regular season, week 7 will be playoffs and an 8th week for the championship game.
These birth years are our OG's, where the league all started so this is our biggest group of skaters! We will have THREE evaluation skates, and each player will be notified as the evaluation skates' approach of what group to attend.
The Midget draft evaluation skates will be at Holiday Rinks!
- The A Group will have their evaluation December 27, 2024, at 5:30 - 6:45pm.
- The B Group will have their evaluation December 28, 2024, from 4:00 - 5:15pm.
- The C Group will have their evaluation December 28, 2024, from 5:15 - 6:30 pm.
- Bantam (2011-12) Thursdays: 06/05/2025-07/24/2025
*Bantam divisions have a delayed start date compared to the Mite - Peewee divisions to avoid conflicts with School Modified Hockey Season. The Draft Division will have FOUR teams, and play SIX regular season games, week 7 will be a playoff game and an 8th week will be a Championship Game. Evaluation Skate Dates/Times TBD
- 2014-15 Birth Years - Thursdays: 06/05/2025-07/24/2025
At the Paddock Chevrolet Ice Arena (*I will allow stronger 2016 players to try out and earn spots also)
This will be a hybrid division of those two birth years as that is where the demand was, instead of designated Peewee or squirt.
I said that if there’s demand, I’ll make it happen so here we are! You guys drive the ship and I’m here to help make hockey fun in WNY!
Promotional Tuition Rates
-We are working on discounted sibling rates for those who have multiple kids playing and also for multiple league discount at the older ages groups for those who play both full and cross ice.
All-Goalie Game Part 2
Yep, we are bringing the all-goalie game back because the first time was awesome. For year 2, we are supporting a new cause that has impacted the local Hockey Community, details coming soon!
The game will be played Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Holiday Rinks... Who have graciously donated the ice for the event again! Check them out HolidayRinks.com
All ages welcome... Registration is now open! This event sold out last year and would expect the same in 2025!
ROchester, We are coming for you!

We will be at Paul Louis Arena, starting off with our cross ice leagues. We are looking at 4 team A & B Divisions for 16U, Bantam, Peewee and Squirt players.

For some fun we’ll have a game scheduled with the champions of the 716 and 585 squaring off.

Mini Sticks Tournament
The mini sticks tournament is going to happen... The kids get yelled at in hotels for playing, and here at WNYSSH we are embracing it and will crown CHAMPIONS! Date, Time and Location of tournament TBD!
